Does Bloomana record my consults? +
No. There is no recorder in the app and no audio is ever uploaded or stored. When you dictate, your phone converts speech to text on the device — Ana receives your words as text only.
Can I use Bloomana on my phone? +
Yes. Bloomana runs in your browser, so there's nothing to download — and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like any other app.
iPhone: open app.bloomana.io in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. (It has to be Safari — Chrome on iPhone doesn't offer this.)
Android: open app.bloomana.io in Chrome, open the menu (usually three dots), and look for Add to Home screen — some phones word it a little differently.
You'll stay signed in, and everything you do day to day — clients, notes, hours, invoices, mileage — works on your phone. Building a form or contract from scratch is easier on a laptop.
How is my client information protected? +
Encrypted in transit and at rest, with per-practice data isolation — your records are reachable only from your own practice, enforced at the database level, not just in the interface. You decide what belongs in Bloomana and what stays elsewhere; our full position on health information is in Section 8 of our Terms.
How do I actually get paid? +
Through your own Stripe account, connected in a few minutes. Client funds go straight to you and never pass through Bloomana. Stripe's processing fees apply; Bloomana takes no platform fee on client payments.
Do you train AI on my client information? +
No. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we contractually require our AI providers to process it only to deliver the feature you asked for — never to train on it.
What if I get stuck using Bloomana? +
Every screen has Ana, Bloomana's built-in help. Ask how to do something — send an invoice, set up a payment plan, log hours — and you'll get a plain-language answer right where you are. Ana answers how-to questions about the app only, and can't see your clients or your data. When there's no good answer, your question goes to a real person on our team. You'll meet Ana after you sign in, not from this page.
What happens to my records if I leave? +
You can request a copy of your data at any time by emailing us, and for up to 30 days after you cancel. Keep your own copies of anything you're required to retain — Bloomana isn't your system of record.
